ITINERARY

DAY 1 | Queenstown - Kepler Track - Te Anau

The Crowne Plaza Hotel Queenstown is the base for this year's trip to New Zealand's South Island. The two-hour journey takes in spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu and dramatic mountains along the way. A helicopter flight across Lake Te Anau and a guided walk along the Kepler Track complete the itinerary.

DAY 2 | Hollyford Track

The track undulates gently through forests showcasing a variety of native bush and ferns, with many cute bridges that cross over cascading rivers and beside tumbling waterfalls. Abundant with birdlife, the native Kereru and tom tits can often be seen.

DAY 3 | Routeburn Track - Milford Sound overnight cruise

The Routeburn Track is famed as one of New Zealand's most rewarding day hikes. You'll feel like you are on top of the world and can enjoy breathtaking views down three of the major valleys. Afterwards, we stay overnight on board the Milford Mariner, designed in the style of a heritage built vessel.

DAY 4 | Milford Sound Track - End Section

Giant's Gate Falls is one of the most famous sights on the whole track, a stunning waterfall plunging into a crystal clear pool. Afterwards, we drive back to Te Anau and have the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5 | Kelper Track from Lake Manapouri to Rainbow Reach - Queenstown

This is a great opportunity for everyone to discover a piece of real New Zealand! Hike across sandy, tree lined beaches, peek inside an authentic 'kiwi' tramping hut, discover expansive wetlands, native forest and even a swing bridge. From here we'll experience the thrill of jet boating down the majestic Waiau River in Queenstown.

The 2024 New Zealand Fiordland Four Great Walks Adventure

was amazing from start to finish.

Each hike took us on an enchanted journey into lush and mystical rain forests. Along the way we witnessed powerful waterfalls, breathtaking mountain views, crystal clear rivers, lakes and so much more.

Our tour guide/s were exceptional, providing us with a wealth of information and lots of banter along the way. Daily lunch bags were always filled with delicious treats leaving us salivating at the mouth.

Kate and a few of the gang entertained us with their

diving skills off the Milford Mariner Boat on Milford Sound. Brave souls!!
