A Guided 6 Days Pack-Free walk
This 6-days Pack Free walk in Western Australia's South West region features the Bibbulmun Track, covering 1000km from Kalamunda to Albany. The track, named after the Bibbulmun people, offers a stunning journey through the South West Forests, stunning coastline, and wine regions. Participants will stay in boutique accommodations and sample the region's finest wines and produce, ensuring a sensory experience.

TRANSFER TIMES:

Morning: 3 hour transfer from Perth to Leeuwin Estate for lunch (or local winery) to meet the rest of the group completing the Cape to Cape walk.

Afternoon: 1 hr 30 minute transfer from Leeuwin Estate (or local winery) to accommodation.
ITINERARY: Be met in Perth by your transfer company at 9.00am at the DoubleTree Hotel Northbridge, Perth and transferred to the famous wine region of Margaret River.
Here we will stop at Leeuwin Estate Winery (or local winery) where we will enjoy a magnificent lunch overlooking the stunning gardens and forest of the estate.
After lunch, we head to Pemberton region arriving late afternoon. Tonight we spend the night at the Karri Valley Resort situated on pretty Lake Beedelup and surrounded by magnificent Karri Forest.
Relax on your bedroom balcony which overhanging the lake and soak up the stunning views.
Tonight enjoy a superb dinner in the restaurant served with local wines with stunning views across the lake.
TRANSFER TIMES:

Morning: Walk starts straight from our accommodation to the trail. Followed by 1 hour and 45-minute transfer to the Giant Tingle Tree.

Afternoon: 18 minute transfer from our the end of our walk to the accommodation.
TRACK DETAILS: 11kms. 5.5 hours with breaks. Medium walk. Grade 2

TERRAIN: Mostly flat walking. Well formed trail with a firm base. Some sections of boardwalk.

WALK ITINERARY: Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the lake. This morning we walk a small section of the Bibbulmun track near our accommodation to pretty Beedelup Falls. Marvel at the beautiful Karri forest, birdlife and the series of rocky cascades of the falls.
Afterwards, we continue on to the Giant Tingle Tree for the main walk of the day through the Tingle Forest to Sappers Bridge. Would you believe the world’s largest forests are here! Our walk starts at the Giant Tingle Tree, a colossal buttressed eucalyptus tree with a hollowed-out base. While wandering through the Valley of the Giants, you will be amazed by the magnificent trees.
The star of the Valley of the Giants is the red tingle tree. The red tingle tree is the biggest buttressing eucalypt with a base that can have a circumference of up to 20m. The karri tree is the tallest tree in Western Australia and the third tallest tree in the world. You will also wander past the yellow tingle trees and the marri trees.
Afterwards, we head to our accommodation at the charming Tree Elle Retreat set in beautifully manicured gardens.
This charming accommodation is like a home away from home. Tonight we’ll enjoy dinner at Nornabar including regional wines from the area.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 13 minute transfer from accommodation to the trail. Afternoon: 10 minute transfer from the end of our walk to the accommodation.

TRACK DETAILS: 16kms. 8 hours with breaks. Medium walk. Grade 3.

TERRAIN: We start with a steady ascent up to Conspicuous Cliffs. The rest of the day is gently undulating. Sections of soft sandy track and beach walking.

WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy breakfast before we head out. Today’s part of the trail explores the stunning coastline from Conspicuous Beach to Peaceful Bay.
From Conspicuous Beach we meander along the limestone cliffs and granite headlands towards the top of Conspicuous Cliffs, where you can witness the breathtaking views of the coastal heathland containing swamp paperbark and the red flowering gum.
We will end the days walk at the stunning Peaceful Bay. Peaceful Bay is a perfect place for a swim or to merely enjoy the astonishing coastline overlooking William Bay National Park.
At Peaceful Bay we choose our fresh fish for tonight’s evening meal from the local fish n chips shop. It doesn’t get anymore local or fresher than this! (Other dinner options will be available for those who do not like fish).
We head back to our accommodation at Tree Elle Retreat for dinner served with some wonderful South West Regional wines.

Elephant Rocks to Monkey Rock
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 29 minute transfer from accommodation to the trail. Afternoon: 31 minute transfer from the end of our walk to the accommodation.

TRACK DETAILS: 18kms. 9 hours with breaks. Medium grade.
TERRAIN: We start with a short, steep up-hill, with many stairs, before the track becomes easier, undulating and with some sandy sections. There’s a nice downhill to the finish.

WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy a hearty breakfast before today’s walk will take you from Shelley Beach to Lowlands Beach. The walk will start at the stunning and powerful Shelley Beach.
The beach is bordered by densely vegetated granite boulders. You will walk towards Lowlands Beach, which is an isolated beach surrounded by dune-draped slopes covered in vegetation.
A freshwater creek flows across the beautiful white sand of the beach. The platforms at Lowlands Beach offer stunning views of the cliffs and sometimes even dolphins or whales.
Afterwards, we head to our accommodation is at the charming Chimes Spa Resort set high on Mount Shadworth with distant views of the ocean.
Tonight we’ll enjoy a special celebratory dinner at Boston Brewery featuring wonderful local produce, beer and wines.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 20-minute transfer from accommodation to the trail. Afternoon: 1-hour transfer to Albany where our journey ends. Option to drive back to Perth (no additional cost) with the guide.
TRACK DETAILS: 8kms. 4 hours walking with breaks. Easy walk with Grade 2.

TERRAIN: Some short climbs today, particularly up to Monkey Rock, but nothing overly challenging. Rocky uneven terrain to Monkey Rock otherwise sandy trails and some management roads.

WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy breakfast before heading out to the last of our walks. Today’s walk takes us from Elephant Rocks to Monkey Rock. We start our journey at magnificent Elephant Rocks.
The huge granite boulders of Elephant Rocks resemble a herd of elephants bathing in the shallow waters of the sea. The track then meanders past enormous granite rocks before reaching the lovely Lights Beach.
From Lights Beach, we wander towards Monkey Rock, where spectacular views over William Bay National Park and Ratcliffe Bay are awaiting.
Here whilst admiring the gorgeous views, we’ll enjoy a walkers picnic lunch. Afterwards, we head to Albany where our tour ends.
Option to drive back to Perth (no additional cost) with the guide.
